Core Privacy Promise: Numer is built to work without requiring user accounts, login credentials, or personal identifiers. All your fishing logs, photos, location data, and personal records are stored locally on your device by default. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal fishing data to our servers, ever.

To deliver the best possible fishing journal experience, Numer may collect two categories of information: Non-Personal Usage Data and User-Provided Content. We want to be fully transparent about what this means for you.

1. Non-Personal Usage Data

We may collect anonymous, non-personal usage data to help us improve the app's performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience. This data includes:

App usage statistics, such as which features you use most frequently, session duration, and interaction patterns
Device information, including device type, operating system version, app version, and mobile network information (no personal device identifiers are collected)
Crash reports and error logs, to help us identify and fix technical issues in the app

This data is collected in a fully anonymized format, and it is never linked to your personal identity, fishing data, or any content you input into the app.

2. User-Provided Content

All content you input into Numer, including fishing trip logs, catch entries, photos, videos, notes, location data, weather records, and custom reports, is your personal content. This data is stored locally on your device by default, and we do not access, collect, or transmit this data to our servers at any time.

You retain full control over your content at all times, and you can export, edit, or delete your data directly through the app's features whenever you choose.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following limited purposes, and never for any unauthorized or commercial use:

To provide, maintain, and improve the Numer app's functionality, performance, and user experience
To identify and fix technical bugs, errors, or issues in the app
To develop new features, tools, and updates that enhance the fishing journal experience for all users
To understand how users interact with the app, to optimize the interface and workflow for real-world fishing use
To comply with any applicable legal requirements or law enforcement requests

We never use your personal fishing data, photos, or user-provided content for any purpose, as this data never leaves your device. We also never sell, rent, or share any of your information, personal or anonymous, with third parties for commercial purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your personal fishing data and user-provided content are stored exclusively on your mobile device, using industry-standard local storage protocols. We do not maintain any servers that store your personal data, so you have full control over your information at all times.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the app from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

Secure local storage encryption for your data on your device
Regular app updates to address security vulnerabilities and protect against emerging threats
Strict access controls for our development team, with no access to user personal data

We do not share your personal data with any third-party services. Any data shared with third parties (such as location data for weather services) is done only with your explicit consent, and only for the purpose of delivering the requested service.

Your Data Rights & Choices

As a Numer user, you have full control over your data, with the following rights and choices:

Access & Control: You can access, view, edit, and delete all your personal data directly within the app, at any time, with no restrictions
Export: You can export all your fishing logs, reports, and data in multiple formats, to save to your device or share with others
Opt-Out: You can opt out of anonymous usage data collection at any time through the app's settings, with no impact on app functionality
Delete: You can delete all your data and the Numer app from your device at any time, permanently removing all your information
No Account Required: You never need to create an account, provide personal information, or log in to use Numer, giving you complete privacy from the start

Children's Privacy

Numer is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or app features. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated policy within the app.
